Built by the peoplewho had to buy it first.
At Toyota we were the ones buying the robot cells and control systems. Now we build them, and each one runs at production rate on our floor before it reaches yours.
Scoping a cell or retrofit?
Platforms named, tested at rate.
Built work→Line down, or a failed install?
We fix what other integrators left behind. Call and we'll tell you the same day whether we can help.

You probably haven't heard of us. We have never advertised for work; the list grew by referral, one name at a time.
Projects don't
fail on the
technology.
Projects fail on the handover: debugged on your floor, no comments in the code, and an integrator who has moved on.

Tested before it ships
Commissioning at your plant is verification, not construction. The cell has already run at rate on our floor.
Project management absorbed
We carry the coordination, and we find the failure points early enough to clear them before your schedule moves.
Handed over with maintenance in mind
Commented code, complete as-builts, a walkthrough. You own all of it.

on theirs.

Autonomous differential & driveshaft delivery
A magnetic-guided AGV that delivers differentials and driveshafts to lineside. No operator, no forklift traffic.
High-volume automotive assembly, Ontario
Rear suspension lifter
A ball-screw lifter that raises the rear suspension into the vehicle, run on a two-hand safety system.
Automotive final assembly, Kentucky
Prop shaft secure tool
Grips the prop shaft, laser-aligns the bolt heads, and secures them with Stanley fastening tools.
Automotive final assembly, Windsor
Relay press & confirmation
Vision confirms the correct relays per vehicle, presses them, and presents the sub-assembly for install.

Mechanical Build & Fabrication
Machining, fabrication, finishing and assembly, run as one scope. About 40% of what we do.
→
Turnkey means
the metal too.
In 2022 we built the mechanical division so the metal is our problem rather than yours. We design it, we run the machining, fabrication and finishing through suppliers we hold to our own drawings, and it comes back here to be assembled, tested and validated alongside the controls.

Somebody else
installed it.
It doesn't work.
A system another integrator left behind, and downtime that keeps repeating. We get called in to make it run. Manufacturing Outlook noticed the pattern when they profiled the firm in 2024: a run of case studies that began with somebody else's install.
- F01Code nobody can read, from a vendor who's moved on
- F02A cell that never reached its quoted cycle time
- F03Commissioning that was never actually finished
- F04Recovery routines that don't recover
- F05The same fault, repeating every week
We work
on what
you run.
Platform-neutral. This is what our clients actually run, not a limit on what we'll take on.

Every shortlist screens on the same criteria. Here are ours in one place.
| Criterion | PH Engineering, on record |
|---|---|
| Scope of service | Design, machining and fabrication, panel build, programming, in-house testing, installation and commissioning under one contract. One point of responsibility. |
| Business stability | Incorporated 2017. P.Eng-led. 20,000 sq ft commissioning floor opened 2024. Growth by repeat and referral. |
| Mechanical capability | Mechanical division since 2022: design in-house, machining, fabrication and finishing through qualified suppliers, assembly and validation on our floor. About 40% of the business. |
| Industry experience | Automotive assembly is the core. Also on record: food processing, grain handling, municipal water and major irrigation systems. |
| Vendor neutrality | We program what your plant already runs, per the schedule above. Nobody gets steered to a house brand. |
| Safety & compliance | Risk assessment, safety-rated circuits, two-hand controls, guarding, and sign-off documentation. |
| Documentation & handover | Commented source, complete as-builts. You own all of it, no locked files. |

The team was extremely efficient and professional. They provided important insights into our processes and were able to respond to all of our needs each step of the way, on time and on budget.
I can completely trust their team to represent our company professionally with our customers. During one project with an extremely tight timeline the team pulled all their resources to make it happen.
