Drives & Motor Control

We specify, install and tune the drives and motor control behind conveyors, presses, indexers and any axis that has to move accurately and repeatably, sized to your actual load and duty cycle.

01What the work involves

  • Drive and motor sizing against real load and duty cycle
  • VFD and servo commissioning and tuning
  • Multi-axis coordinated motion
  • Legacy drive replacement and retrofit
  • Energy and performance improvement on existing equipment

02Common questions

Can you retrofit drives on older equipment?

Yes. Obsolete drive replacement is common work, and it's often the cheapest way to get more life out of a machine that's otherwise sound.

Do you handle the motion tuning?

Yes. Sizing and installation are the easy part, and the auto-tune gets you a first pass in minutes. The engineering is everything after that: holding the move repeatable under real load, then proving it on moving line trials until it holds every cycle.

Send the drawings, the spec, or just a description of the problem. You'll get a straight answer on whether it's something we should be quoting.
